NOTE: I'm a total RENThead. I'll be using the lyrics to 'One Song Glory.'
{One song. Glory. One song Before I go, Glory One song to leave behind,}
Wild, iridescent eyes were illuminated by the illuminescent light provided by the moon. Auburn in color, and they allured most fellow horses. Greenery that was beneath her lying form was highlighted by the light, making it look no longer green, but a heavenly silver. The four year old mare felt as if she were frolicking on clouds, lightweight and no care in the world, but that lifeless dream would only last but a sweet minute.
The owl hoots filled the air, ringing out to the world. Restless squirrels jumped from tree branch to tree branch, rustling the leaves in their wake. The mare had allowed a soft, gentle smile cross her facade. Her soft blue roan coat was adorned delicately by the soft glow of the moon. Her coat had stray taints of strawberry, though it was rarely seen.
{Find one song, one last refrain, glory From the pretty boy front man, Who wasted opportunity.}
Her ivory blaze along with the matching three socks were glimmering brightly to their peak. They shone with every ounce of wonder, shimmering like thousands of diamonds as the mare effortlessly hauled herself to her hooves. Her light chestnut-brown mane and tail was aroused by a soft breeze that had blown past. Its fingers combing through her tassel and banner. She inhaled what the wind carried, her eyes closing as she savored this moment. Her agile movements were swift, and she looked to a frail new-born filly. Ah, this was only part of her wild soul. The mare could act like a filly at times, though the moon had not exposed her scars.
Her longest scar went from her left side to her right, ending abruptly at her right hind hoof. Identical hoof prints could be found on either side of her rump, though if one's eyes were to trail curiously upwards the astounding creature's bodice, one would find mountain lion claw marks. Such a beating to a pretty little dove.
{One song, he had the world at his feet, Glory In the eyes of a young girl, a young girl Find glory, beyond the cheap colored lights}
Her harks lifted from their lazy positions to capture the wild voices that demanded to be heard. Besides being a filly-like mare, she had other personality possessions. For starters, she was a secretive soul. Often at times, she revealed nothing of her past, for she wished it remain in the past. She was caring, gentle and at times can be intimidating to other grown horses. Ah, but when there was a strength, there's always a weakness. She was never intimidating towards lone fillies and colts. She took them in under her invisible wings, acting like a surrogate mother.
It was like she was heaven-sent; an angel to spread His word. Here, she was delicately placed upon the wild plains in which she shall always roam. Even if she were to be taken away from her homelands, she would always return. There was no doubt about that. Her angelic-like trait had given her part of her name; Heavenly, but there was another part to her name.
Another personality trait, she wouldn't fall head over heels for some muscular brute. She learned from watching the desperate mares, serving the stallion as if he were the king of the heavens. Soon, their womb would be filled with a foal and their supposed stallion would leave them. She thought it was foolish, knowing they were some sort of disgrace to the mare kind. She felt like ramming them, asking them rhetorical questions; Have you no dignity, nor pride? This caused the stallions to work harder for her, yet she refused every one of them, leaving her womb barren. She took pride in this stubbornness, knowing that one day her horse prince will come when he felt like it. She looked on the inside, instead of the out.
{One song, before the sun sets Glory - on another empty life Time flies - time dies, Glory - One blaze of glory One blaze of glory - Glory}
Her wild, burning candle was not to be snuffed out anytime soon, and the mare made sure of it. No one could make her do this, not without her consent, nor could one make her feel inferior without her consent. Tossing her regal head, she whinnied shrilly, joining in on the cries that filled the air.
Her muscular, yet petite structure had proved to her liking, even if she only stands at a mere 16 hands. At least she was agile, swift and was able to travel at fortifying speeds over desolate lands. The breeds that gave her this height and physical traits were indeed of the Kiger Mustang and Spanish Mustang.
Here stands the mare, Heavenly Illusion. Dare you provoke her in showing her devilish side, or shall you see her heavenly side? Is she really just an illusion, or is she within touching distance?
One last glance had turned towards the skies, eying them over. The stars seemed to be placed in their spots, popping out with a mere stroke of a hand. Snorting quietly, she left this place, disappearing into the deepened shadows, perhaps never to return again.
{Find, Glory, in a song that rings true Truth like a blazing fire, an eternal flame
Find, one song, a song about love Glory, from the soul of a young man A young man
Find, the one song Before the virus takes hold, glory Like it sunset One song To redeem this empty life
Time flies And then no need to endure anymore Time dies}
